In 2022 we opened perhaps the most iconic building in the centre of Liptovský Mikuláš - The House of Culture built by the Ministry of Defence. The building has stood in its place since the 1980s and served multiple purposes over the years. It included a puppet theatre, a cinema, a recording studio, a cheap clothes shop. Markets, balls and a pensioners' club took its place here, as well.
The building was owned by the Ministry of Defence and for many years the top leaders of the Armed Forces would meet here. An important part of the building was the famous local bar, DJ Didi used to play here and vodka cost 20 Slovak Crowns. The building was closed in 2011, the ministry sold it to a private owner and the building became dilapidated.
Within a few weeks we managed to clean up the premises, we opened the former offices as exhibition areas, the Kino stage (Cinema stage), Zrkadlový stage (Mirror stage) and Oranžový stage (Orange stage).
